Peter Kostis (born December 23, 1946 in Sanford, Maine) is an American golf analyst and instructor.Kostis is a golf instructor and has been a member of the Golf Digest teaching staff for over 20 years. Among his many students are Paul Casey, Chez Reavie, Bernhard Langer, Steve Elkington, Dan Marino, Maury Povich, and Mike Schmidt. He and Gary McCord are partners in the Grayhawk Learning Center in Scottsdale, Arizona.Kostis got his big break when fellow golf pro Mac O'Grady got him a consulting job for the 1996 movie Tin Cup.In 1992, Kostis joined CBS Sports as an on-course reporter.
